The fast-paced nature of futsal has made CCV’s Indoor Soccer Tournament one of the most exciting events of the CCV Summer Games. In the 2011 tournament, the WorkSafeBC team became an explosive force to be reckoned, allowing them to smoothly advance to the finals. However, SFU Beedie School of Business was able to weave through WorkSafeBC’s defense skillfully in order to solidify a lead that would bring the team to another golden moment. Which team will this year’s golden futsal moment go to? Join in on the fun at the CCV 2012 Indoor Soccer for a shot at gold!

1. Games are played five-on-five.

2. Each game will consist of two 20-minute halves and a 5-minute halftime break. Each team is allowed one 20-second timeout per game.

3. The tournament is set up for round robin pool play with tiered playoffs.

4. Teams are seeded after round robin based on a point system: a win = 3 points, a tie = 1 point, a loss = 0 points. The top teams in each pool based on points will advance to Tier 1. Bottom teams will advance to Tier 2.

5. In playoffs, a single elimination bracket will be used.
