Hailed as one of CCV’s most popular tournaments, CCV 2012 Indoor Volleyball is sure to deliver another booming experience this year! Co-rec teams will represent their companies at the elite venue, the Richmond Olympic Oval, for an epic weekend of 6-on-6 indoor volleyball. In 2011, Rogers was able to defend their first-place standing for another year while newcomers, Mountain Equipment Co-op swept the tier two podium with their golden accomplishment. As the 2012 Games approach, we’re sure to see even more teams serving up company pride!

1. Matches are played six-on-six. Each match will be allotted 40 minutes.

2. A match will consist of best of three sets: 25-15-15. A team must win by two points. The first two sets are capped at 27 points and the third set is capped at 17 points (except in playoffs, time permitting). Scores are recorded based on a rally point system. Each team can call one 30-second timeout per set.

3. The tournament is set up for round robin pool play with tiered playoffs.

4. Teams are seeded after round robin based on wins and then point differentials. The top teams in each pool will advance to Tier 1. Bottom teams will advance to Tier 2.

5. In playoffs, a single elimination bracket will be used.

1. Rules are based on FIVB rules modified for Corporate Champions Vancouver.

2. Notable modifications include unlimited substitutions and substitutions can be made on the fly.

3. There must be at least two members of the opposite sex on the court at all times, such that the gender ratio is either 2:4 or 3:3.

Download the complete CCV Volleyball Rules & Regulations.

1. Players must wear indoor shoes or running shoes.

2. Game balls will be provided.

3. The net will be set to Junior Boys height.
