CCV is thrilled to introduce Table Tennis as a new CCV 2012 Summer Games sport! Companies will play in a team format where the first game is played by men’s doubles, the second game by women’s doubles, and the last game by mixed doubles. The event will take place in the world-class venue, the Richmond Olympic Oval. Don’t miss out on CCV’s first Table Tennis Tournament!

1. Matches will consist of three games. Matches will be played in a team format where the first game will be played by men’s doubles, the second game will be played by women’s doubles, and the last game will be played by mixed doubles. Note that a participant is eligible to play in more than one game in a match. (E.g. A male can play in the men’s doubles and mixed doubles games.)

2. A game is played to 21 points, win by two points, and cap at 25 points (except in playoffs, time permitting). Each team can call one 30-second timeout per game. Each match is allotted 50 minutes. Scores are recorded based on a rally point system.

3. The tournament is set up for round robin pool play with tiered playoffs.

4. Teams are seeded after round robin based on number of games won. The top teams in each pool based on points will advance to Tier 1. Bottom teams will advance to Tier 2.

5. In playoffs, a single elimination bracket will be used.

1. Rules are based on International Table Tennis Federation rules modified for Corporate Champions Vancouver.

Download the complete CCV Table Tennis Rules & Regulations.

1. Please wear appropriate footwear.

2. Game balls and paddles will be provided.
